Default Windows Installer service keeps stating, running, stopping.

Running XPSP3. Windows Installer Service starts, runs, stops in System Event
Log, about every 40-60 minutes like clockwork all day, on multiple computers.
No explanation in the logs.

We are using SCCM 2007 R2, but, there is nothing in the SCCM logs showing
anything.

How can we tell WHAT is causing this?

Thanks.

Is there an actual problem you're seeing, or do you just want to know why
the service does this?
