Do you mean the error happens within the VM machine or on the host?
I have seen both, within a test vm and on host machines. I'm not sure if the host machines did have VMware client / Workstation installed or not, but I assume not. This is a known bug since Vista/Win7 I think. You can only fix it by
not using a background image. The Z-Order of controls in the internal UI can be influenced in the Control table, but it only helps partially. Or, best way is to replace the UI with a nicer looking external UI as a lot of products already do. We've had it show up on XP32 as well. It seems it might be an issue with the VMWare client, as
another application is exhibiting the same problem. Thanks, Rob On 25/02/2010 08:40, Sebastian Brand wrote: > This is a known bug since Vista/Win7 I think. I have an issue where some text is disappearing off some dialogs after a few seconds. On a dialog
where the text is "[MyProductName] blah blah", after a few seconds the text for MyProductName is disappearing. The text layout is the same. It doesn't look like the property is becoming empty, it's just that that part of the text is disappearing and showing the background behind it. This only seems to be reproducible on one machine, but I was wondering if anyone else had encountered it. Thanks, Rob |

The problem is happening inside the VM machine. So far we can't get it to reproduce on a real host.
