I am trying to update one of my programs, it down loads ok, but when it tries
to install I get the message CB420.msi. I have talked to the company I have brought the program from and they have not been very helpful, hence I cannot update my program. Can any one please help? |

It's trying to find the internal cached MSI file in Windows\installer. If
it's there then it might be a security issue. If it's not there then you need to get the original MSI file and copy it to that location as the name it's looking for. Just in case you thought that the content of Windows\installer can be removed, it can't. -- Phil Wilson The Definitive Guide to Windows Installer http://www.apress.com/book/view/1590592972 "apm38" <apm38@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5223E85A-9B2E-4DED-82E8-A032CBAF7C75@microsoft.com... >I am trying to update one of my programs, it down loads ok, but when it >tries > to install I get the message CB420.msi.
