Unable to install my Setup on Network Path in upgrade case

Hello All,
Can you please tell me, that we have to set any property in MSI to
install setup on network path. I had created MSI. Through which I able to
upgrade on same m\c but not able to upgrade on network path. It is giving
error when MSI installation starts. Error is "A network error occured while
attempting to read from the file \\ngp32\EDISPH~1\STDS\ICS\IDOC_E~3.lay".

I want to know, is we have to set any property for network path
installation?

Anyone could give me some information about it would be appreciate!
