Hi,
I know that there is a possibility in VMWare ESX to clone a machine and doing sysprep and machine rename at the same time controlled by ESX. I'm missing this feature in VMM do you know how to clone a machine and changing the name at the same time. I don't want to do a unattended or sysprep routine by myself. |

Hello,
You can do this through the option to create a Template from a running VM. I assume you are a german customer. If you like you can use the German SCVMM newsgroup for questions about VMM. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards - Alexander Ortha (Microsoft) German Virtualization Blog http://blogs.technet.com/germanvirtu...g/default.aspx This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
