Default VMM 2008 beta Deployment VMs

Hi,

I know that there is a possibility in VMWare ESX to clone a machine and
doing sysprep and machine rename at the same time controlled by ESX.

I'm missing this feature in VMM do you know how to clone a machine and
changing the name at the same time. I don't want to do a unattended or
sysprep routine by myself.

Hello,

You can do this through the option to create a Template from a running VM.

I assume you are a german customer. If you like you can use the German SCVMM
newsgroup for questions about VMM.
