I am having a hard time figuring this out. Currently, I run a VS2005 system, but we are considering upgrading it to Hyper-V. In the event of a demonstration, and the network / Internet connection is down, I need my salesman to have a backup copy of the image on an external drive. Is it difficult (possible?) to export a Hyper-V image so that it could run on a VPC2007? Would it change anything if it was running on a Windows 7 machine? Would SCVMM make this change easier? Are there any other products which can help with this scenario? Thank you, CJM |

The emulated hardware differences, the drivers from the addition/integration components, and the HAL differences all have to be accounted for. -- Bob Comer On Tue, 15 Sep 2009 11:51:01 -0700, cjmara <cjmara@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >I am having a hard time figuring this out. > >Currently, I run a VS2005 system, but we are considering upgrading it to >Hyper-V.
