Default Hyper-V Update List – some confusion

Could you help me to find answer for following question please?

I have Hyper-V host on Windows Server 2008 with SP 2 installed. I found
Hyper-V Update List
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...93(WS.10).aspx) and have no
Idea which are included in SP2 and which can be installed (obviously when
required). First impression was when in column “Applies to” is “Windows
Server 2008 SP2” I should consider the update. But after I read carefully I
found this part of article: “The updates for Windows Server 2008 Service Pack
2 (SP2) are applied automatically with the service pack, and do not need to
be applied again.”

So could you clarify for me, which updates apply to Windows 2008 with
Service Pack 2 please?

Default RE: Hyper-V Update List – some confusion

Hi,

As long you have patch with SP2 then should be fine. When you encounter some
problem, then only you patch the hotfixes as listed in the Hyper V update
list.
