Why are you still using Microsoft's NNTP server to post to Usenet?
They're going to kill off that server. Go find a different NNTP server.
Many are free. You'll find all the microsoft.public.* groups that
Microsoft removed from their own server.

Microsoft never provided much in the way of support here anyway. I scarcely
think that anyone will notice their absence.

It's not that Microsoft never provided much support in Usenet. They
have provided NONE. Microsoft reps do not participate in newsgroups.
They don't participate in the forums, either. MVPs are NOT Microsoft
employees.
