RE: Guests losing network inconsistently

I'm having a similar problem. Server2003 R2 host, same for guest, guest
running sql 2000 Enterprise. The host machine will randomly lose
connectivity, and only a reboot seems to work. This is very disruptive, of
course, because now both machines are down. Interestingly, sometimes the
host is down, but you can RDP into the guest OS. Sometimes it's the other
way around.

Right now I have a scheduled tasks running every five minutes that pings my
guests and has seen to be a suitable workaround.
