Default Can I put the Hyper-V virtual switch into promiscuous mode?

I am a computer trainer and want to capture network traffic, using
Microsoft's Network Monitor, for a new class I am creating.

I have a virtual machine (Win 7) with Network Monitor 3.4 (NM) installed on
it. Even with NM in promiscuous mode I can only see traffic to or from this
virutal machine.

Without having to install NM on every virtual machine and they trying to
merge traces, is there a way for a single vm to capture all traffice between
_all_ vms?

Thanks in Advance,

Jesse Tutterrow, MCT
