Default SMS - Can it access non-zero failure codes and continue ?

Hi Dudes,

I have a question regarding SMS2003 and I hope someone out there can provide
me with a solution.

Basically, I need to know if an SMS package, or advertisement, can be
tweaked to aclass a return code of 2 as acceptable, rather than a failure.

Here's the reason why ......

I am running the symantec 'NoNav' package and distributing to multiple
clients.

Although the package does everything it is supposed to do, which is to rip
out symantec antivirus and then reboot the client machine, SMS is detecting
a failure code of 2.

Since SMS regards this code 2 as a failure, it will not run my next package,
which is the reinstall of a later version of AV.

I have looked up this return code 2, and it is almost certainly due to some
files not being found for deletion within the NoNav program. Technically,
this is a valid outcome for NoNav, since it is basically trying to delete
everything possible in relation to Symantec Antivirus products. It will
always look for something to delete which is not there, its just the way it
works.

So, the question I have, is 'how can I set my advertisement (or package, or
whatever) to allow this failure code 2, and therefore continue processing the
next package.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Hi Garth,

Thanks for the suggestion.

Where can I find the information which would show me how to do that?
