Script to disable Anti-virus before Office 2007 install

I am upgrading all of our clients to Office 2007 from affice 2003.

But sophos Antivirus is hanging the install the the point that the upgrades never get done.

I tried to use a batch file that runs before the upgrade runs, but it not working.

i need a script to disable sophos anti-virus before the Office 2007 upgrade gets installed.

Any ideas on how i can get this done.

We actually use Sophos here as well and have not run into that problem.
I've upgraded about 2000 computers so far from office 2003 to office 2007...

What exclusions do you have sophos set for??? We have
c:\windows\softwaredistribution\* on the exlude list... Maybe this would
help you??
